This isn't true though. Lots of excess body fat places a lot of strain on your cardiovascular and musculoskeletal systems, no matter what. Even if you start in pristine health, after a decade or so of being very overweight, your body will feel the effects.
Yes but what if you have someone that exercises all the time? Someone who is obese, but is very flexible, can run for hours, etc. They just consume so much that they are obese, but are very healthy/athletic otherwise

Like big bodybuilders are technically overweight/obese, but many have a sort of athleticism to them
