If you want a ranged weapon, just buy a gun. Otherwise take a legal melee weapon and throw it.

Dreaming_King posted... I could generate just from basic throws and how fun it was. It got me thinking, I carry my knife in the first place for basic self defense but what do I do if the guy runs off after hitting me or realizing he's out matched? I could chase him sure, but wouldn't it be way cooler to get the last laugh by leaving him a souvenir in the form of a blade in his back?

...if he's fleeing, you've already defended yourself. Attacking somebody in the back when he's retreating is just plain murder and I'm not sure it's protected in any state.
