It's harder to do that as a man since you're not "supposed" to talk about your feelings.

I believe this is true. I just got lucky and was the youngest of 4 with all sisters. So I was the one spearheading my boys into being ok talking about their emotions and shit. I still don't show emotion when I talk about emotions, but Im very open verbally. Like, I won't cry in front of my boys, but I have no trouble admitting when I've cried. So, I guess it still applies to an extent even with my advantages. I talk to literally everyone about anxiety now. It's very freeing. Just gotta take baby steps.
