Buying a gun because you want a gun, plan to learn gun safety and shooting skills, intend to spend time on the firing range burning through ammunition, maybe doing your own reloading, is great. Buying one for magical "self-defense" as seen on TV is about as smart as wearing a tinfoil hat to protect yourself from alien mind control. --- If ballet was easy, it would be pointe-less ...
