Topic | i'm thinking of buying a gun, any suggestions would be great, ok? |

Hell, I can easily hit the center of a target at 75 yards with my shotgun. It may not be a true bullseye (as I take a paper plate and color the little circle in the middle red) but that's likely more about my aim than the gun One thing that's being overlooked on this discussion thread: license and costs. To get one for a pistol in NY, you need 6 signatures from nonrelatives saying you won't shoot places up. You need to apply for one on your county (mine is $150) and then you can take the pistol safety class ($100). If you pass everything, including the background check and mental health check, they can still deny you a permit So you get your permit and don't forget to renew! If you live in New York City, pistol licenses must be renewed every three years for a fee of $340 To get a shotgun, you pay for it, show your license and/or ID and then you just wait to clear the background check. Then go pick up your firearm. No renewal costs ... Copied to Clipboard! |
