TBH, I think the issue is that they're hitting the wrong card. Shaman's Galakrond just has way higher winrate when drawn then all the other Galas, and they're compensating by nerfing literally all the synergy cards instead of the Shaman Gala. They should just make the battlecry two 2/1s with rush, invoke twice to make two 4/2s with rush, invoke twice to make two 8/4s with rush.
