Topic	All Purpose Horror Topic 2018: so Suspiria was fucking weird (again)

I am convinced it is impossible to make a good movie with this property; both the Japanese and American versions of the original aren't exactly masterpieces, in fact I think they kinda suck a bit. This one is a good bit worse though. Nothing screams unoriginality like using Kayako's iconic noise for EVERY new ghost in this film. She at least had a reason to be making the sound; these people do not. The jumpscares outside of maybe one or two are all bad and look like something you'd expect to find on a straight to DVD horror film editing wise. I'm not sure how the Grudge franchise became iconic with no film in the series managing to break 50% on RT.
