The only difference can be his rage level, and I'm doing the same thing every time, so I think the difference is what Ramuh's ATB bar is at when I push him into phase 2?! If that's what's going on it's a really terrible fight mechanic. Anyway I think I might need to farm 100 magia to raise Red's mind so he's not paralyzed as long. I am trying to save his AASB for phase 3 since that's the hardest part, but if I do he gets paralyzed in phase 2 and he's not recovered in time to refresh the chain.
