It makes sense, I mean we crave what we are accustomed to eating. If you have a salt heavy diet, most of your craving will be salty stuff. I used to drink the hell out of sweet tea. I cut back hardcore on sugar and no I cant even stand the taste of it and I much prefer Good water


I've never been able to stomach the sweet teas, it was always waaaay to sweet for me. In fact, I never could eat much candy either, just a bite or two and I would be sugared out (except peanut M&M's and spice drops for some reason).

I do put a bit of sugar in my tea mind you, but it's just a small amount, versus I think sweat tea is 75% sugar lol.
