Topic	When you were a kid , did your parents believe in spankings?

My biological father spanked me with a ping pong paddle when I was like 8 years old. I remember it broke in half one time and I laughed so hard. Other than that.....pretty normal childhood. Most punishments came in the form of grounding me to my room. And no, I wasn't one of those kids where their bedroom was their sanctuary. No TV. No music. No video games.
