Bayek was a fantastic protagonist, and while exploration was very fun, it was Bayek that made it all worthwhile. The constellation conversations with his son, his motivation for doing everything, his relationship with Aya, just his amazing voice acting and personality. He's just extremely likable. So I enjoyed exploring the world as him. Choosing a protagonist and having dialogue options already comes across as too WRPG. I'm planning on playing as the female kassandra and hope it captures the magic of Origins, so here's hoping.
