Topic	1917 movie (about WWI) is all done in one-shot?

The fact that it's not being advertised as a one shot, and the trailers don't make it look like one, shows that its not just a gimmick. It's done to tell the story, namely the horror of war and the uncertainty around it. It's by far my most anticipated movie of 2020 You hide the cuts with fast camera movements and other tricks. I do not disagree with you Toast. They actually come out and mention some of the cuts, in some of the prerelease videos. By one take, they meant, real-time. There is no way a film like this could be done in one take.
