Those were the two biggest teams of the decade Based on the bracket, it's based on individual seasons/years, not performance over the entire decade. Across the whole decade, it should be either the Warriors or Patriots. But in terms of individual seasons, Kentucky did set the single season wins record and won the championship in that season (which the Warriors didn't do in their 73-9 season) so it makes sense why that could be seen as the greatest team of the decade.
