I know some people are purists for FPS, but even with a 144hz monitor, I usually find that if I can pull off 1440p on full ultra settings and still get consistently 30-60fps, I prefer it to going low enough to push above 100. I find it kinda difficult to notice as big of a gulf between 30fps and 60fps as I do between medium/high and ultra, though I'm not much of a shooter guy and my understanding is that's where it really comes into play. EDIT: Probably worth noting I have a freesync monitor, which may be why I don't really notice much if it drops from 60 to around 45-50 under stress. --- -Shred ... Copied to Clipboard! |
