The problem is many keep wanting more and more money. You really need to have a point where its "enough." Where you won't take on more work despite already making more them enough.

Many people blow through their money instantly. They have no self control.

That is the key to happiness that one has the most control over. Have modest goals and expectations. If you set your goals and desires too high or constantly ramp them up or change them you will never be.

I suppose happiness is ultimately entirely dependent on ones attitude(and ones body being in condition for it to be physically possible to be happy.) but obviously pretty much anyone will he heavily influenced by their health, environment and peers.

IMO greed is fucking terrible for your happiness. If you always want more and more how can you ever be happy?

But yes money can make happiness easier because it can eliminate a great deal of stress from your life. A greedy person is probably comparatively happy to a dirt poor person who genuinely is uncertain if they will have a home or food next week and has various untreated chronic health issues.

But a person content with a stable yet modest lifestyle is probably happier then some rich CEO working 100 hours a week.
