Christmas is central to Gremlins, considering Gizmo was purchased as a Christmas gift and the movie was a deconstruction of holiday commercialism. It's more devoted to Christmas than a lot of movies starring Santa --- (\/)(\/)|-| There are precious few at ease / With moral ambiguities / So we act as though they don't exist. ...
