Okami: That game just kept going and going!!! I'm not complaining, because I loved it! When you first fight the multiple headed dragon thing....I was like, "this is it!"....and that was literally like the halfway point of the game! If that! Wasn't expecting that.

Final Fantasy 7: So this was pre-internet. All my brother and I had as a basis for what the game entailed....was video game magazine, advertisements, and the commercials on TV. And everything about the game made it look like the entire game takes place in Midgar. The city. Because that's all they'd ever show! We naturally assumed you'd spend the game going from Mako reactor to Mako reactor....destroying all of them, and then ultimately having a big showdown with the President of Shinra in the middle. Imagine my surprise when Midgar was only like 5% of the game!!!! I can still remember the "feels" I got when they let you out onto the world map for the first time. It was incredible. I miss you, 1997. And I miss you even more, brother.

Those are the only two games that really come to mind.
