It was a test. i've heard this line of thinking before, the test/trap scheme. it doesn't make sense. one of two things is happening in this scenario 1) his gf doesn't trust him, and with her having these trust issues she has her sorta friend hit on him at a party away from her and would expect and accept honesty when said friend reports back to her 2)this other girl, "looking out for her friend" and without the friends knowledge, disingenuously solicits another guy hoping to get rejected so she could then go back to her friend and tell his gf that she tried to hook up with her boyfriend and he said no. like that would fly with another girl. ...
