It ain't shit mate. What it is a sign is that Corbyn led an abysmal campaign, and far too many took to hear the smear campaign alongside his own disastarious efforts, along with people still believing Brexit is in their interests.

Yeah, it's pretty clear Corbyn got too cute with Brexit: he essentially tried to straddle the middle. The weakness of such a strategy was temporarily masked by May's incompetence, but it weakened Labour's position in the long run. It left them with nothing to offer Leave voters(who could just vote for BoJo, who successfully made the Tories the sole Leave party) while alienating Remain voters. Given that those voting blocs are roughly the same size, well, the numbers speak for themselves.
That the press smeared him is also undeniable, but there's not anything that can be done about that. Sad though it is, poor old Jeremy is going to have to take a tumble under the bus for the team after this one. He is, at this point, undeniably holding the British Left back.
