Topic	Why do so many people just not care that we're overfishing and ruining the world

Well let's not throw in the towel just yet and call us a doomed species, I mean what's so wrong with realizing that if we make a better future, those who only care about money will able to make more money in that new future. Why else do you make more money than you can spend in your lifetime than for your descendants right? Biologically you want to leave them with something, they certainly wouldn't want to leave them with nothing but a doomed Earth. Its a lot more than the oceans, you got dudes slaughtering indigineous peoples in the amazon and burning the forest down. You got polution on mass scale being pumped into the ozone. You got intelligence communites world wide being above common law and beyond public scrutiny with unlimited funds.
