But it will happily stuff that money into some bureaucrats pocket when they turn in their $25 for a single screw expense report. Or worse, use it as an excuse to say see people at this income don't need it so let's lower the threshold. Don't let pride prevent you from accepting help. Yeah maybe you didn't do "work" to earn it, but that's not the point, the point is to try to help you get to the point you truly don't need, not just you have a fortunate support system to help you, and ultimately to get you to spend frivolously like a proper American.
