I'm just saying there's no reason for government to care about you microwaving your burrito at the establishment after you buy it. the rule really is intended to stop you from buying mcdonalds and stuff. if 7-11 is gonna let you cook your food at the establishment after you purchase it with SNAP, I don't think the government cares at all

As someone on food stamps, yes, some places are sticklers about how you warm up the food afterwards, to the extent a lot of places where I am actually *removed* public microwaves for *anyone* to use just to stop the so-called "abuse of the system".

You also can't buy *any* pre-cooked food that's still warm/hot, it *must* have been chilled first for an arbitrary amount of time even when it's literally the exact product. This is especially notorious with chicken meals, but the most hilarious example is ready to go soup.
