Topic	Is it just me or do jrpgs in gen 7 and 8 look absolutely ugly?

And I don't know why you picked one of your examples to be a Falcom Kiseki game, when it's incredibly niche even in Japan and they're known for having really small budgets. Instead of, idk, Dragon Quest XI, FFXV, or Tales of Arise. Falcom's other game trails in the sky looked fine imo. When anime is 2d it's fine, but in 3d there's this certain uncanny look to them. In gen 6, the ps2 jrpgs didn't didn't look like that. I particularly like the celshaded look of stuff like rogue galaxy. I prefer when it looks more cartoony.
