Romulox28 12/10/19 10:07:50 AM #45: | For me, it was when my brother died. Growing up, I was heavily involved in the Neo-Nazi community. One day, a couple of African American guys attempted to steal my truck, and when I went out to confront them, I ended up killing two of them in a hateful, racially-motivated attack. I was sentenced to three years in prison for voluntary manslaughter. In prison, I attempted to integrate with the Aryan Brotherhood, but they ultimately turned on me and assaulted me. My only solace was working my laundry job; it was there I started a friendship with an African American inmate after we bonded over a mutual love of basketball. It was this friendship that helped me see the error of my ways. Upon my release from prison, I attempted to put my hateful past behind me, but I soon learned that my brother was going down the same path I had went down. I tried to save him, but unfortunately it was too late and he was a victim of violence related to his hateful, racist ways. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
