Topic	Are Die Hard and Lethal Weapon both Christmas movies?
Lightning Strikes 12/09/19 6:50:01 AM #25:	Die Hard is and the debate is stupid. The entire story and themes revolve around Christmas. Remove the Christmas setting and the whole film has to change. Also release date doesn't matter, Christmas films regularly get released throughout the year and some places got it during the holidays anyway. It's a Christmas film and there isn't any case otherwise. Lethal Weapon is an edge case. The imagery is there and it has Christmas songs. However, it is all incidental to the plot.
