Topic	How could I approach playing old school pokemon again

FR/LG are objectively improvements on R/B/Y too, but there's a bit of charm to how fucking stupid Gen 1 is in a lot of ways and a case to be made for playing that if you never have before. And if you're interested in migrating pokemon to the newer games, the VC remakes of both gens are arguably better for acquiring things (Celibi event and more usable glitches for that) than the remakes.
