Absolutely. It's acute organ dysfunction secondary to infection and sepsis with the classic presentation symptoms (hypotension, tachycardia, hypoperfusion, etc). There's a cascade of events within sepsis that leads to relative hypovolemia and vasodilation.

You'd need to eradicate the source of infection and start hemodynamic support. Antibiotics, vasopessors, etc.
