Topic	the term "side hustle" makes me gag.

Judgmenl posted... It's a term that business influencers use to describe a side gig separate from your "real job." Apparently we live in a society where everyone must have 2 jobs (or more) at all times. Being a social media influencer is a common "side hustle". A side hustle shouldn't be confused with a second job and the term goes far beyond "business influencers." You can have a second job where it's not a side hustle, it's just called a second job. Side hustles tend to be more entrepreneurial in nature and capable of scaling. And, for the most part, I'm not sure that you can really count "social media influencer" as a side hustle since most of them don't actually make money or, in many cases, even get comped product. If you're doing something in your spare time and not making money for it, it's not a "side hustle," it's something called a "hobby." Back when I blogged in my spare time, I got more comped product than a lot of "social media influencers" (highest in a single month was maybe $2k in comped product), but I never thought of it as a job or side hustle, that was just a hobby even when I was making money from it. Its mostly going to stores and discreetly taking pics and answering a few questions for a few to several dollars each. Amazon MT is mostly surveys and data entry. Dude, I make over $100,000 a year. I don't fucking need "side gigs". Even people at work who make more than me, are constantly trying to turn a profit on the stock market. It's so fucking weird. I have more money than I'd ever need, and there are people who just want more.
