NYT deep dive on Gallagher with stories from other SEALs.
They report having seem him take narcotics, suspect him of shooting from a sniper's nest a schoolgirl, instructed his team to turn off their locator beacons to avoid detection from superiors. SEALs said they reported their concerns to a Lieutenant but Gallagher would frequently disregard him. Said Lieutenant was charged (though the charges were later dropped) for not reporting Gallagher for war crimes. So the SEALs started firing warning shots to warn civilians to stay out of range and one even tried to damage Gallagher's rifle to make it less accurate!
There's more too but jesus.
Nothing much really new there. He was found innocent on most of those charges because they were unable to be proven.
