By the time I was told to go to Zora's Domain, I had forgotten all about Owlface's explanation of the map and thought that hole in the minimap was a cropping error. I interpreted "Zora's Domain" as "the place where the Zoras live" and looked around in Lake Hylia over and over and over until I didn't want to live amymore. And the game was filled with those kinds of frustrations for me. I got stuck in Gerudo Valley for hours because I didn't have the longshot, I got stuck trying to get into Hyrule Castle forever because I saw the obvious splodey boulder and thought I needed to look for bombs to go through that way.
