While it's not quite the same thing it's definitely a glimpse into the mind of some that do cheap out. The review was for one of those small power strip style UPS' with a very low mAh, think it was literally intended for network gear only. It was under 60 or so bucks iirc. Guy bought it and complained it was a complete rip off and how he should sue the company because he put his 4000 dollar beast of a gaming pc (his literal words) and it kept cutting out because it couldn't provide enough power and might have damaged the PC. You'd think if you're gonna blow all that money on a pc, you'd feed it with an actual modest UPS and not one literally meant for a router/modem and maybe a tv for a few mins. ...
