One of the only things he changed about the OT that I actually liked was having Jango Fett's actor redubbing Boba Fett's dialogue. If only for continuity purposes.

I didn't even like that.

It's one thing to say that the clones sound and talk exactly like Jango, because they were raised in a lab and programmed to have his skills, so you can say they were full identical copies. But Boba was an unaltered clone that was eventually forced to grow up on his own... meaning he had a different life, different life experiences, and different physical stresses and influences on his body. At the very least his accent shouldn't be identical (because he lived an entirely different life and interacted with different people in different places), but even beyond that, there's no reason why his voice couldn't sound at least somewhat different (maybe Boba smoke and drank more than Jango did, maybe he suffered a throat wound in a fight, maybe he's just using some kind of voice distorter in his helmet).

And he has like three lines in the entire trilogy, so who gives a fuck what he sounds like (someone once pointed out you can put literally everything he says in the movies into a single tweet)?

But I also find the whole Jango/Boba clone thing stupid anyway, so it's hard to get worked up over something that I've already kind of given up on as a premise.

The ONE Special Edition edit Lucas made that I thought actually worked (even if I still found it kind of unnecessary) is when they redid the scene with the Emperor in Empire to be Ian McDiarmid instead of Clive Revill. Almost everything else was either more or less pointless (like putting dewbacks in the background of a scene which was fine as-is), or outright bad (the whole Han/Greedo thing, the musical number in Jabba's palace, etc).

I MIGHT be willing to accept that replacing the Yub-Nub song from the end of RotJ (which we all made fun of for 20 years) with a more low-key instrumental was a good move, but the overall effect was kind of lame, and tied into the stupid "Oh, Anakin's ghost is Hayden Christensen now" thing, so I see it as an overall negative.
