Just look at some of these past polls: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/2936- https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/3435- Both of those polls took place during the height of our greatest vote totals (2006-2010) and the 2 liberal options outperformed the 2 conservative options. Though keep in mind that "Moderate" was still the most popular option in both polls. Typically, people end up becoming more conservative as they get older. It would be interesting to see if this trend also applies to this site's users, as our average age continues to increase. Unless of course our voting pool somehow dries up completely before that can happen or the PotD feature has been discontinued.
