So, I stand by the point. Sure, people can do auto-erotic asphyxiation for pure giggles, and people can jump out of planes because theyre extreme thrillseekers. In this particular case, the guy spiraled into a severe depression and wound up dead.

I can go dig up the long articles on the guys history and events leading to his death, having been a big fan of his for 15 years, but I figured the bullet points were sufficient.
