Topic	I hate everything about the Xbox brand.

That is worst thing that the Xbox brand has standardized to me But they also brought some degree of quality of service to online gaming for consoles. Realistically it's unsustainable to offer an ongoing service without some kind of matching revenue stream otherwise there is less incentive to actually maintain it once the customer has paid the upfront amount which is maximum they are going to pay. In the past the price of the game covered server costs.
