To hell with that. I want better Pokemon games in the future, so I'm not buying these games now. I can get on board with that, but can you tell us what other games you're boycotting? There's legitimately an issue with half-finished games coming out, especially with companies monetizing them with microtransactions instead of fixing the problems, or even intentionally building flaws into the games so they can sell items to alleviate the tedium. Fallout 76 is especially bad for this.
