Topic	would it still be worth being a cop WITHOUT a deadly firearm?

When I said positive experiences I meant like a couple times theyve driven me home when I was passed out drunk somewhere. Mostly Ive had guns pointed at me and had my head bashed in for doing nothing or even for doing a good deed. I never had my head bashed because I wouldn't let them.
