Usually, in the past, they'd wait until a significant number of users reached the milestone, then they'd ask them to vote on a name for themselves on the user level specific message board. There's probably not enough people at that level (if any!) for them to bother yet. Or the people who run the site have utterly ceased to give a fuck about that sort of thing and it'll just be ??? forever. You need 10000 karma to get there.
