The "point" is to give the bully an opportunity to come clean, to repent. What, the bully was approached in a less than gentle way? Well boo-fucking-hoo.

Being, present time, yessir. The moment the bully comes out he stands not just a bully (yes, still, as far as I know there's no statute of limitations on bullying, lel) but more importantly and relevant a hypocrite. Again, it's not his bullying that's the problem, it's his hypocrisy.

Again. If the bully had included an apology, heck just a confession and acknowledgment of his bullying (to no one in particular) when he came out, that would have been completely different.

You dont owe anybody anything in life, dude. The whole thing could have been handled better. Has nothing to do with shielding the bully. Its about closure. Actual closure. Not just going out of your way to be a self righteous ass on social media. There was nothing to gain from that except shame somebody else.

Thats not productive and it helps no one. If you wanna go around punishing others for the past, then pretty much anyone over anything is free game. Thats why this is petty.

Nobody wants closure though. Just social media outrage whenever possible. Any excuse to be offended by something or someone
