Here's some other GotY contenders this year, for comparison: - Fire Emblem: Three Houses: 4.44 - Resident Evil 2: 4.39 - Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night: 4.28 - Astral Chain: 4.13 - Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: 4.11 - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening: 4.06 - Super Mario Maker 2: 4.05 - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: 4.04 - Devil May Cry 5: 4.01 - Luigi's Mansion 3: 3.91 - Borderlands 3: 3.72 (though idk if anyone considers this a real GotY contender) I can't think of a single recent game with a similar average score to KH3 GameFAQs remotely cares about. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Rockstar game, an automatic disadvantage here, and hasn't met with great reception even by those standards, yet it holds a 4.25. --- "I believe in a universe that doesn't care, and people who do."
