Nothing wrong with that though as that's it staying true to it's roots. But they've been cranking up the waifus to crazy levels lately. They have, but this has been going on since Awakening, and since Awakening was a large part of what helped revitalize the series and keep it going, they are going to keep using shit from Awakening to try and continue the series' success. So yeah, blame Awakening. It's why Fates, Heroes and Three Houses ended up the way they did.
