Part of your credit score is based on the percentage of how much you "borrow." If you have a $100 link of credit and utilize $100 of it, it will look bad (100% utilization). If you have a $10000 line of credit and utilize $100, it will look good. Just don't open a whole bunch at once. It takes a few months for your credit score to recover.
