How am I missing the point by pointing out that people who work and train hard at a sport deserve a shot to compete equally?
Doesn't matter if they're male, female or transitioning. It doesn't seem to be an issue in some other sports.
I have lots of relatives who have all been playing soccer for years on mixed teams without issue.
Seriously this. People say that it's somehow unfair to women because it puts them at a disadvantage but that's bull. If a woman can't keep up with a man then she just isn't trying as hard as he is that's all.
Like the time the U.S. National women's soccer team got beaten by an under 15 boy's team, or when both Serena and Venus got trashed by a mediocre male player in the same day. Being at the top of your tier and unchallenged just makes you complacent, mixing everyone together will only result in better athletes all around.
