I liked the plot, the new characters were instantly likeable, the classic characters were used excellently, and the Han/Kylo scene got more legit emotional reaction from me than anything else in SW. TLJ was good but I didn't think it was as fun as TFA. My biggest problem with it was just the idea of setting it immediately after TFA. It just wasn't able to move the ball much in terms of the trilogy's overall plot because there was no in-between time to set up new circumstances. This wasn't even entirely its own fault, since the way TFA ended with Luke and Rey basically required it. Also the casino world felt way too prequel-y for me, and once again Poe had almost nothing to do after the first act and didn't even have the "unintended main character" excuse from TFA. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name...
