The Red Mage as a character class just has a certain charm to it that a lot of FFIV characters fail to reach even having dialogue and whatnot. The hat and overall aesthetic is sweet, and doing swords + all the magic at a weakened level is fun and not something you see much among traditional fantasy character classes. I don't ignore 8-bit material when voting I'm just saying even if I do I really love the Red Mage concept. --- No problem!
