Topic	This overhybridized apple will start replacing the red delicious apple this year

If they are replacing red delicious apples it shouldn't matter for recipes. Since specifically calling for a red delicious apple would be a pretty good indication that a recipe shouldn't be used. I'm not sure if this is a dig on assumed recipe quality or red delicious apples but there's going to be times when you're going to need red delicious apples.
