It pulled off two things I didn't think possible in having a character I hated MORE than Jar Jar (Rose) AND giving me two new worst lines of all time ('Now it's worth it.' and Rose's little speech at the end).
Sorry Star Wars isnt some jock fest and it shows a little Girl Power. Personally I loved the Last Jedi and its my favorite of the series.
Wow. I don't hate Rose because she's female. Her being female has nothing to do why I hate her. Heck, I loved characters like Leia and Ahsoka. I hated her for being a poorly written character with two insanely dumb and mind-numbing lines, a useless and stupid plot, and generally having no reason at all to exist.
Edit: Also, seriously? Are you seriously trying to say that Star Wars has never had female characters in either disney canon or legends before Rose, that Rose is the first 'girl power' character, and that the only reason someone would hate her is for being a 'girl power' character?
I dont know if this is a whoosh moment or some troll-on-troll action
