2019 Guam War in the Pacific W quarter.

Why is this significant? Most coins are made in either Philadelphia(P mint mark or no mint mark) Denver(D) and San Fransisco(S).

Historically there have been more mints, such as New Orleans and Carson City, but they no longer exist. There is a 4th mint the US makes coins at West Point(W), but they have never had a general circulation coin until the 2019 series.

A total of 10 million W quarters are out there, spread out between the 5 designs this year. So I'd imagine 2 million per design, though I don't know if its an even spread like that.

I've been looking and today I found one! When they were first hitting the banks a coin grading company was offering $5,000 to the first person to submit a W coin of any design. I'm ways away from that, but it is nice knowing I own the lowest mint general circulation coin since....At least the 1940s.

You can see the W there below in god we trust, and the secondary indication is the flat rim on the obverse.

I'm as happy as a pig in shit boy a who what let me tellyou
