As for the second drive not showing up hold the windows key and press r then type diskmgmt.msc and press enter and see if your PC recognizes the second drive as being there but not formatted/given a drive letter or whatever. But I wouldn't bother formatting it when you install Windows on it it'll do that for you anyway IIRC. But it's a good check to see if you have the cabling right and good to know if you ever put another hard drive in. --- No problem!
