You would think after 2016 we would be a little more cautious about saying things like this.

Lest you forget, Trump was universally hated by the GOP establishment all the way until basically the convention.

Even Tulsi doesn't have that kind of establishment opposition.

Uh.. statistical outliers aren't going to make me more cautious of stating statistics. And the underdog Republican nominee winning against the Democrat nominee is a little different than some deep Democrat also-ran springboarding more than half a dozen Democrats in the 11th hour and stealing the win. That would a win for the ages, but it is still highly improbable and I will treat it as such until if and when I am surprised

We need to stop acting like the laws of the universe have been invalidated because a statistically unlikely thing happened in a recent US election.

Surprised we haven't seen a sharp increase in daredevils.
